@demalasi @OkendaPierre @NRGInstitute @Gecamines @IMFNews .@NRGInstitute has implemented a #DRC #ResourceContracts website that can publish new @Gecamines contracts if and when disclosed. https://t.co/nFOnobxelE #EITI
@KinnariIBhatt We annotate (summarize key terms) contracts in #ResourceContracts to try and ease the legalese barrier. Take a look at https://t.co/IGHHRMKhuU as an example. BTW @NRGInstitute developed #EITI portals for Ghana and Myanmar. Take a look at the Ghana portal. https://t.co/PZ6wmWMUei
#ResourceContracts includes an Excel template that allows for the import and publish of #contracts from the backend in bulk. Quick and simple way to publish contracts, with metadata and open text, and help comply with the new #EITI standard.
Hi @charlesandyoung These websites are wonderful sources of info but the problem is getting CSOs to use them 4 advocacy...the legalese is impenetrable so often their value is not translated to actionable practical tools- what can we do? This is prob an issue for #EITI data too
.@NRGInstitute supported the creation of government websites that include mining #contracts. https://t.co/P0nx1yXyHU
#Guinea already complies to the new #EITI standard wrt publishing contracts. Visit the #ResourceContracts country website. https://t.co/v5M9A31UPh @EITIorg
